Roof Cleaning in Warner Robins, GA

We received a call from a customer about cleaning the dark streaks off of her roof. She told us that she hated the way it looked and did not know how to make it go away. I told her we are experts on roof cleaning and tackle these jobs often.

This customer was concerned about how we do roof cleaning. She told us, "I don't want you dragging a pressure washer around on my roof blasting off my shingles." This is a common concern for many of our customers so we brought our equipment when we came to do the quote. We demonstrated with only water that we use a soft-wash system to do all of our roof cleaning jobs. This specialized equipment puts out a high volume of solution at a low pressure of less than 300psi. I explained to her that shingles are tougher than skin and I put my hand in front of the stream of water coming from our soft wash system demonstrating that this application technique will not damage her roof.

After addressing her concerns and demonstrating to her the roof cleaning process she wanted to get on the schedule. We were able to schedule her in less than a week and we soon began the cleaning.

We began this cleaning like all of our others by wetting all the vegetation around the house to ensure we keep them safe and healthy. Roof Cleaning requires a stronger solution to fully kill the organic growth so it is crucial to constantly keep all plants and grass wet. We set up several sprinklers and often have a technician with a separate soft-wash system, solely dedicated to keeping plants safe. Is this necessary? No, but we are committed to keeping healthy plants healthy.

Once we apply our solution we allow the proper dwell time to kill the mildew, algae, and other organic matter on the roof. We then begin the rinse process of the roof. This part is very satisfying to see all the dirty water running down the slope of the roof! It is like slowly pulling back a curtain, revealing a fresh clean streak-free roof. Once the rinsing is complete the roof looks almost new.
